The kids are always hungry after school so with 4 school age boys, I have to keep snacks in supply for them. But what to I do when they have after school activities and sporting events? I can’t just expect them to eat a piece of fruit, chips or yogurt. That just isn’t filling enough.
Luckily Tyson has an answer for that. They recently created Tyson Mini Chicken Sandwiches. These come in an 8 count box and are available in the freezer section at Walmart.
So last week I headed to Walmart on a mission to find these new Tyson Mini Chicken Sandwiches. I didn’t have much trouble finding them at all. They were right by all the other frozen snack foods.

Wrestling practice was Thursday, so I made some of these up before we headed out. I was quite surprised to see how fast and simple these were to make. I expected to have to cook them in the oven, but a microwave is all I needed!
As soon as they were done, I just had to open up the package and dump them on a plate.
Of course a chicken sandwich isn’t complete without mayonnaise, so we had to add some of that.
The kids dug in and devoured these right away. After the first bite, Lil Man was already calling dibs on seconds. He said they are “heavenly”! Big Bro wanted more too, so they must have been delish!
I’m not really big on eating frozen foods myself, but I just had to try these after they came out because they smelled so good. I’m pleased to say they were pretty good!
By the time we were finished, Big Bro had 2, Lil Man 3, and I had 1.
