I am a germ freak. I am obsessed with making sure people and things are clean. It was exceptionally gruesome when my son was born. You were not allowed to touch him until you used one of the two bottles of hand sanitizer I had on the living room table. I will not put my son in a shopping cart until it’s been wiped and disinfectated.
And I’m not happy about all the products that are out there to accomplish these tasks. I am, however, thrilled to tell you about CleanWell and the To-Go products I was able to try out! I received the disinfectant spray and the disinfectant wipes, just like the picture above. They are small and convenient and I promise you have room in your purse or diaper bag!
Made with thyme oil (to kill germs botanically) and only seven other ingredients, I feel safe using these around my kid. I used the wipes at his spot at the table and on his highchair before dinner. They were amazing! Not only did they clean the areas (that highchair has seen better days!), but they disinfected without leaving a sticky residue. They smell great too with a lemony and woodsy scent that does not linger for too long.
On the go, I used the spray. My kid had recently been sick, so I was eager to use the spray on a shopping cart prior to putting his cover on. Per usual, I parked next to a cart return, grabbed a cart and this time, sprayed the heck out of it before finding his cover (time which allowed the spray to dry) and then fumbling to put it on (more drying time!).. Sonshine slipped into the seat and I hear a quiet “mmm”! He liked the scent! In fact, since I started doing this, he hasn’t been sick or sniffle-y!
These are also great to wipe down plastic toys and, I have to admit, I used the spray to combat that sticky “kid” smell in my car. (Y’know, that “ohdeargoodnesswhydidIlethimhaveapplejuiceinmycar?” smell.) It worked pretty well.
