Helping Women Everywhere.
We believe that every woman in the world who wants an opportunity to support herself and her family should have that opportunity. That’s why we created the GOOD RETURNS business model on which Soap Hope was founded. It’s simple: every dollar of profit earned by a Good Returns company goes first to an institution that uses it to solve world problems. After those profits have spent a year in service, the money is returned to Soap Hope. It’s like the Peace Corps for money: we volunteer every dollar for a year of service.
This is only a sample of the info available for the Soap Hope mission. If you get a chance, please go check it out and read all about them– they do wonderful things for wonderful people.
That said…they sell some pretty awesome products. I was sent some samples of their bar soaps, mineral cosmetics, and even some household cleaners– all products that they carry on their website. For my review item however, I narrowed it down to the Biokleen Hand Moisturizing Dishwash Liquid.
You might think- uh, she’s reviewing their dish soap? But yeah- yeah I am. I don’t normally get this excited over something like dish soap- but wow. This stuff is GREAT. When I opened my sample- the first thing that hit me was the smell. ZING! Orange peel and a citrus-y scent filled my nose. And a real scent too- not something fake and frilly. There really is grapefruit seed and orange peel extract in there, the aroma goes right for your nose.
All scents aside, it’s not going to do anything for me if it can’t do what it is intended to do either….many items we don’t put in the dishwasher and I’m not going to use a soap only because it smells pretty. I want something that is going to do the job and not cause me worry regarding the ingredients. We hand wash our pots, pans, and I actually had a chance to wash a piece of my china too. It was gentle, left my pots, pans and vegetable dish squeaky clean without any drip marks or spots. My hands were soft too since the only ingredients are “Surfactants and conditioners from coconut and/or corn, orange peel extract; grapefruit seed and pulp extract, aloe, vitamin E, linear sulfonate, and filtered water.”
If you’d like to check out some wonderful products that are sold by a company with a fantastic mission- I highly recommend Soap Hope. I’m thrilled to be familiar with a great company with exceptional eco friendly products.
