With the heat that we’ve been having for the past week,indoor fun is definitely the way to go. It’s so hot and muggy that we just can’t spend too much time outside without really feeling the heat. That’s why video games are a must have in my household!
We received Wii Play Motion right before the move and finally got a chance to check it out for the first time early last week. Lil Man and I were the first testers of this action packed game.

The first game we played together was Cone Zone and it was just so much fun! We had to move our bodies around to make the ice cream go on the cone right. You wouldn’t think it’s that hard, but boy this required some moving skills! It was just so much fun and we were laughing our butts off as the cones finally got too high that they’d just topple over!
Veggie Guardin’ was another one that the two of us tried out right away. I used to always play that mole beating game at arcades when I was younger and with the kids. Veggie Guardin’ is pretty much just like that and it’s so much fun. I swear, it’s totally addicting!
All of the other kids have been checking out all 12 of the games and they’ve been having a blast! The laughter is insane sometimes, it’s so funny! This is definitely a perfect game for these hot summer days and any day for that matter. I love that each game requires them to be active in some way.
