First Dog is a FANTASTIC movie. My kids and I watched it on one of those hot (very not) nights this past week. This movie has everything from funny to suspense (from a kids point of view). Of course we were cheering Daniel and Teddy on throughout the whole movie.
As an adult, you can guess ten minutes into the DVD what the ending will be; however, I didn’t come close to anticipating the rest of the movie. There were twists and turns I never saw coming. My kids were so engrossed in the story, I don’t think they figured out the ending….until the end. My very sensitive daughter even had tears in her eyes.
This is a great, heart-warming, clean story with lots of valuable lessons squeezed in for kids (without them even realizing it). Beautiful story and I highly recommend it!
