The Little Tykes Garden Grow Watering Can is a great way to introduce gardening to your little ones. With 4 different directions for the water to come out, it provides a lot of entertainment. We had a TON of fun with the watering can and the only problem I had with reviewing it was the inability to get any photographs! Sometimes you just can’t get a toddler to take photos.
Although the Little Tykes Garden Grow Watering Can’s main purpose is to help with gardening, which is does, Judah loved playing with it in the bathtub. He liked getting “showers” with it and watering his rubber duckies. So in case you don’t have a garden, this makes a GREAT bathtub toy! Drop in a few colored fizzies and you can have a rainbow of colors streaming out in multi-directions. It is really amazing how much fun you can have with this watering can when using your imagination.
I find myself often using it now to water the tomatoes in our garden. They’re getting heavier and although staked, kind of lean towards the back by the fence so the multi-directions help a lot with this.. As I said, there are four directions for the water: It can come out one direction, two or even three, but I prefer the shower which is also what Judah likes in the bathtub. Even so, this is an extremely sturdy watering can that has a wide opening to pour the water in. If you have house plants and a little one with a green thumb, this would be the perfect watering can for you!
