How long have I been doing reviews now? A few months? In that time I have had the opportunity to review some really awesome products and haven’t had a single one that I wasn’t proud to put my name on and say ‘YES! This is a winner! Get it!’. Well I thought the time had come when I had a product I didn’t love, and couldn’t recommend. I was a little nervous about my Klorane Papyrus Shampoo (for dry/unruly hair), Conditioner, Hair Mask, and No Rinse products made from paper? That smell like grass? Um. Er. Uh…..

Silly me, I jumped the gun. While I was washing my hair with the Klorane shampoo I wasn’t thinking that this was remarkable. It didn’t feel different, in fact it really just smelled different from anything I have ever used. It reminded me of freshly cut grass and basil! I know a strange combination for a shampoo, but it wasn’t bad. Just different. Anyhow, I finished with the shampoo and moved on to the conditioner. Again, I wasn’t noticing anything remarkable.
I then proceeded with the next steps, the hair mask and the no rinse cream. I still wasn’t sure what all of this green stuff was going to do (if anything) to my hair. It seems I never have luck with with all natural products and am doomed to live a life using products containing ingredients that I cannot pronounce.
Then it came time to blow dry. Well holy cow. My hair was shiny! It was smooth! AND it had that ‘just came home from the salon’ feeling. I didn’t need to fret after all, this line is FANTASTIC! I was really impressed with the shine first and foremost. My hair didn’t feel weighed down and the BEST part was that it lasted into the next day. I don’t have the opportunity to wash my hair daily..so the fact that this kind of ‘clean hair feeling’ can last me a couple of days is a HUGE tme saver.
I really can’t get over the shine and how lightweight my hair is. While poking around on the internet I read that they have some pretty stellar dry shampoo products too. I’ve got that on the list.Here’s to trying new things!
