So I wasn’t exactly a kid of the ’90s, but possibly one at heart. I do have siblings that are still teenagers, and children of my own that are hitting that dreaded “tween” stage; awkwardness and all. I remember plenty of times just chillin’ with the kids watching cartoons. A few of those listed above were favorites of theirs.
My favorite, you ask? The Wild Thornberrys, without a doubt! We actually do own all of the movies, which I haven’t seen in years. I felt like a kid in a candy store when I found out that The Wild Thornberrys: Season One was coming and my family would be lucky enough to check it out. I knew the kids would be just as excited too, and boy was I right!
The very first night, Big Bro and I laid in my bed and watched a few of the episodes. Throughout the week, the kids and I had this in the DVD player constantly. In fact, we just packed up most of our DVDs and this is one that we had to keep out!
If you’ve never seen The Wild Thornberrys, I definitely recommend checking it out. It’s a great cartoon, but definitely one that all ages can get into. Eliza is always on some quirky adventure on her own and manages to get herself in a jam all the time. Of course, she gets herself out easily too given that she can talk to animals!
My whole family really enjoys this series and will definitely be buying the rest of the series as they come out. Having 20 episodes all at once, in one case is great because it’s hours of entertainment.
