The GLEE Encore DVD was a lot of fun! I watched it with my son Judah and he would applaud after every musical number. During most of them he was dancing and I have to admit, the moment they opened by singing Journey I couldn’t help myself. You’ll sing along no matter how awful you might sound because the musical numbers are all hit songs that most everyone knows. Popular songs like Dont Stop Believing,? ?Gold Digger,? Ill Stand By You,? ?True Colors,? ?Jesse’s Girl? and ?Total Eclipse of the Heart.? The actors/actresses have amazing, AMAZING voices, and the way they wrap the song with choreography is incredible.

It’s comforting to know that the GLEE Encore DVD is family friendly. I was able to let my tween nieces also watch it without concern of adult concepts that are often found in the show. Since GLEE Encore is ONLY musical videos they can dance and sing their little gleeklet hearts out. In fact the moment I showed them the DVD they squealed and danced right there on the spot. It’s absolutely wonderful that FOX Entertainment thought of it’s younger audience and the multitude of people who may watch the show just for the musical numbers.
