My children are 7 and 9, so I had modified the game for them to play. We all LOVED it. In fact, my kids continue to ask if we can play. That says something right there, doesn’t it? We played with the Easy cards for my 7 year old and Easy and Moderate cards for my 9 year old. I would say the word and then use it in a sentence. This allows my kids to think of SYNONYMS for the word. We try to use some of the words in our everyday conversations as well. I have to admit… this is a great game for parents too. You could also play with several people and form teams.
I know a lot games I tend to buy seem focused more on math skills and so I was very excited to give this a try. We all LOVED it! I recommend you consider purchasing it for all school age kids and modify the game if needed. Oh, the kids are calling me, time to go play another round of SYNONYMS!
