My 2 year old is stubborn, stubborn, stubborn. He has refused to drink milk in any capacity (dairy, soy, almond) since the moment we changed him from his formula. One of the ways we substitute for his daily Vitamin D and Calcium is yogurt. He wasn’t too keen on adult yogurt because of the strong… well yogurt-y taste, so I was really happy to find Yoplait Kids. Not only does it nutritiously contain both Vitamin D and Calcium but it has 25% less sugar than most of the other kid’s yogurts, besides that its taste is very smooth and accommodating for his age and pickiness. The Disney characters on each cup also help!
There are 3 flavors right now: Vroom Vroom Vanilla (Pixar’s Cars), Royal Strawberry Banana (Disney Princesses) and Strawberry (Dora the Explorer). Now, now… I hear someone saying, “My son loves Strawberry Banana but he isn’t going to eat out of a Princess cup!” Well, if this is true then just spoon it into a bowl and top it off with some fruit for a yummy tasty breakfast. Same great taste without the yucky girls!
You can pick up Yoplait Kids in 4pks in the refrigerator aisle at most grocery stores and I definitely know they’re at Walmart. You can also find coupons in the Sunday Paper!
