This winter has me in a total funk. I am so done with it and just want it to be over.
My dear aunt posted on her Facebook wall this morning “Under all this snow, the daffodils and tulips are doing their thing.” It just got me thinking and really made me hate this nasty winter and all this disgusting snow that’s everywhere. Really, it is everywhere. There’s nowhere to go with it all. It’s a sledders paradise I’m sure. For me, not so much.
I want Spring to be here. I want to see my grass again {if there is any under all that white stuff} and get giddy every morning when I walk into my yard and see that the flowers are popping up from the ground. I really do notice the teeniest bit of growth that each new day brings and it fills my heart with joy.
I want to take the kids to the park and watch them play. If only we had room in our yard for a little swing set. I cam across this on while browsing for swing sets and it would be perfect for them! Lil Man would just love that little club house!
But for now {unfortunately} we’re stuck with the snow and all the yuckiness that winter has to offer. A girl can still dream about Spring, right?
