It’s hunting season, and you know what that means! Girl’s night!
Friday night it was just my sister, a friend and I, but we had an alright time. Of course my family drama had to add in the mix and that kind of bombed the whole night, but whatever.
Yesterday, my sister and I went to our aunt’s house for dinner and a girl’s night with our other 2 aunts and 2 of our cousins. I’m really not all that close with my family, so I really didn’t know what to expect. I thought it might be awkward, but it totally wasn’t. We had a lot of fun and laughed so hard our cheeks hurt. My sister and I now have some more hilarious inside jokes and we need to buy my aunt some special “grippy” socks for Christmas! It really was a lot of fun and I’d love to do it again!
Today, I’m heading up to the farm to meet the boys and I’ll stay up there and chill in total relaxation mode until Wednesday. Then we’re coming back for Thanksgiving {which I get to host… again} and go back up Friday.
It’s going to be a busy busy week for me, but I will get some much needed “me time” and “off time”. There’s no internet, so I’ll just be scheduling gift guide posts {and of course my contest linky}.
