“Anne and Jonas Beiler didn?t set out to create pretzel perfection when they purchased a Pennsylvania farmer’s market stand in 1988. Instead, they hoped to provide free counseling services to families and couples in their community, and purchased the stand to provide the income needed for their vision. After some experimentation and a few mishaps, Anne and Jonas created a pretzel that customers quickly dubbed ?better than the best you?ve ever tasted,? which is the same pretzel we all know and love today.“
I don’t know about you, but I definitely cannot resist these soft, warm and delicious pretzels. My mouth waters like crazy every time I walk by Auntie Anne’s in the mall. I swear, that place calls to me in some way, begging me to just come and get a taste.
When Jackie said that we would be including Auntie Annes in our gift guide, I was just stoked! I was even more excited when i found out they would be sending us an “At Home Baking Kit” so that we could make out very own Auntie Annes pretzels right in our own kitchens!
“Anne’s special recipe, just for at-home baking. Mix, twist, and bake 10 Original or Cinnamon Sugar Pretzels or 15 Pretzel Dogs.“
The minute my package arrived I just had to open it up and see how to make these babies! I was definitely shocked when I read the instructions and saw how easy it was! I was even more excited when I made them and bit into one for the first time. They were delicious, if I do say so myself! Nom nom.
There are even more things besides pretzels that you can make with the At Home Baking Kit. You can make monkey bread too!
Gift It!
The great thing about gifting Auntie Annes for the holidays is that you can offer your recipient a gift card to go buy some for themselves, or you could buy an At Home Baking Kit {or a few} and make your own pretzels to give as gifts. Everyone likes homemade!
