Crayola has gone “green” and you can too! Crayola made crayons with solar power, markers from recycled bottle caps and colored pencils from reforested wood this school season. How’s that for green?
Looking at the supply list from my kids’ school, most teachers specifically requested Crayola products. I can understand why because I prefer to buy Crayola products over other brands. Their stuff is just simply better and it lasts longer. Crayola crayons color better than the cheap ones. In fact when I color, I only use Crayola crayons. Yes, I still color; Don’t make fun of me! I bet some of you do too, admit it.
I sent the pack of crayons with Big Bro and the pack of colored pencils with Lil Man. Since neither of them had fine line markers on their list, I got to keep them for myself, bwah-hahaha. I kid, I kid. They’re in a drawer for us all to use.
I asked the kids what they thought and they liked the crayons and pencils. They think it’s awesome that Crayola made them out of recycled materials. I think the markers are the same great quality that I’m used to. Just to really put them to the test, I wrote my name in cursive. It was just like writing it with a pen which is what I’ve always loved about Crayola markers since I was a kid. I’ve never found a marker that writes smoother. The new black barrel is pretty cool looking too!
