Synopsis:
Tyler Doherty is an extraordinary eight-year-old boy armed with strong faith and courage as he faces his daily battle against cancer. I could not help but be teary eyes while watching Letters to God. The tears just kept coming, no matter what I did. Tyler’s story in general just touched my heart and I felt like I was right there with all of them. Just as Brady the mailman felt, he was brought into his life for a reason and those letters found their way into his hands for that same reason.
Somehow, thanks to the love and support of his family and friends like Sam, Tyler’s journey wasn’t a sad one. He was happy and he enjoyed being a kid, playing with his friends and doing all the things that kids love to do.
I think Letters to God is a great movie for the whole family. It was a really great movie and I think kids and adults alike can learn an awful lot about friendship, love and compassion from it.
