I have had such a blast working on the Grim Grill campaign with Sam’s Club and am so happy to announce that the results are in! I had a part in selecting the winners, so that’s pretty cool. I’ve never been an official judge before!
Just in case you forgot what the prizes were, the grand prize is a new grill and a $100 Sam’s Club gift card! ARV of Grand Prize is $1,400! One runner up will receive a smaller grill and $40 Sam’s Club gift card, ARV of $240.

My grill is on its last leg but we prop it up with a cinder block. The BBQ that comes out of it is awesome!!! I am a single parent with three young boys, one of which is graduating from 8th grade the week prior to Memorial Day so if we had a new BBQ grill we could throw him a proper party and send him off to High School in the right way :o)

I built this grill in 1969. It was originally a display stand from an auto parts store with a refrigerator shelf for the grate & welded sheet metal made into a warming tray. It is falling apart but I won’t let my wife get rid of it as it is a classic! I believe I could repair it but she states she would never eat off it anyway….
