My Neighbor Totoro is a great story about two little girls who move into a new house. There are little dust spirits in the house and Satsuki is scared of them at first, but not her little sister Mei. She is one brave little girl. Mei wanders off on her own one day while Satsuki is at school and she just happens upon Totoro, a neighbor in the forest.
She later tells her family about Totoro, but of course they do not believe her. Then Satsuki sees Totoro and the crazy cat type bus he hos on and she is a believer. When their mother takes a turn for the worse, Mei takes off on her own and they only way Satsuki can find her is with the help of Totoro.
I think Totoro is a great story about family, togetherness, sticking by each other in a time of need and of course friendship. I think it’s a must see for kids!
