As many of you know, we’re a very pet friendly family. We have 2 dogs, a gecko, a couple of fish and our newest addition – a ferret. Well pets are just like people, they need to be fed and they need rewards and treats for good behavior.
We were recently sent this Singing Dog Treat Jar from Rockconcepts to try out. I look it out of the box immediately and passed if off to The Man because I knew he would get a kick out of it. He likes all those fun singing things! He tilted the dog’s head and opened it up and we heard the tune “Who Let the Dogs Out”. It was pretty funny when the kids came running in to see what was making that noise. Now I can’t get them to leave it alone! They’re constantly opening it and dancing around like crazy kids that they are.
We’re using it for the dog treats, since it seemed fitting. However, it doesn’t have to be used solely for dogs. You can use it as a Singing Cookie Jar instead and know every time your little one digs his hand in that cookie jar to grab a cookie!
Our dogs have figured out what happens every time they hear that tune. They come running just knowing they’ll be getting a treat! Now if I can just train the kids not to open it for the sake of dancing around like little apes!
