I’m a holiday baker – big time. I’m that girl that bakes like crazy, making 8-12 different cookies to divvy up in tins that will be passed around to family and friends. People have come to expect my tasty treats at our holiday gatherings. But this year is different because my oven sort of went out at the end of last month and my husband hasn’t figured out how to fix it yet. It’s been upsetting but I’ve learned to improvise and instead made some no bake treats this holiday season.
It doesn’t get much easier than Chocolate Covered Pretzels, so I thought they’d be perfect to make. I made white and milk chocolate varieties and they turned out delicious! You” need the following ingredients to make your own:
- Milk Chocolate for melting
- White chocolate for melting
- pretzel twists
- holiday colored sprinkles
- parchment paper
Spread parchment paper on the counter or table. Melt your chocolate using whatever method you prefer. I use the microwave and add just a 1/2 teaspoon of vegetable oil. Dip your pretzels in the melted chocolate, lay on parchment paper and add your sprinkles. Let the chocolate set and enjoy!
