Today, I am so excited to share with you a step by step 3D Initial Frame Tutorial! I have been slowly redecorating my house, and have changed my color scheme completely. I was, and still am, fond of the earth tones…my whole house was greens, chocolates, and golds. Now I am obsessed with the aqua and coral/peach tones…I mean OBSESSED! So here’s a sneak peak at my NEW colors for my home and an awesome tutorial! Enjoy!
Step by Step Instructions
1. Materials needed:
Old Frame
Fabric Material
Your Family Initial
Glue Gun
Scissors
2. Lay out your material
Lay your glass on top
Cut around glass leaving an inch of fabric
3. Cut a slit on the corners of your fabric (this is so you can easily wrap your material around the edges)
4. Glue your fabric to the glass
5. When your done gluing, it should look like this(see step 5)
6. Place you finished “material covered glass” back in the frame. Note: make sure your material isn’t too thick, otherwise your glass won’t fit back into the frame.
7. Add glue to your family initial, and place on fabric. If you’d like to add a different look, you can paint the letter.
That’s it!
This project is so easy and fun!
