While in New York, I was able to check out a number of toys from Silverlit. Of course there were so many fun ones that I just had to see if they’d like to include any in our gift guide this year!
One of my favorite toys at the event was Head Shotz. They are really cool RC powered battle balls. This is a great gift idea for brothers, so each kid can get one!
“Head Shotz are a line of customizable, transforming R/C battle ball toys designed to compete in head-to-head combat. Players customize their toy by adding battle arms and targets, and then roll into competition against other Head Shotz. Each comes with an infrared remote that allows kids to control their Head Shotz with high-speed spins, head butts and knockouts.”
The kids have been having a blast battling it up with Head Shotz. You arm the Head Shotz with battle arms that protect the target, then an opponent will try to get them off. All 4 of the boys (and us grown ups too!) have been battling it up for the past few weeks. We got a twin pack, but I already grabbed more for Christmas so that 4 players can battle it up!
Another really fun toy that I saw from Silverlit was the 3D Twister. All of the boys have this baby on their wish list!
“The 3D Twister brings R/C racing to a new dimension with brand new 2.4 GHz technology, nonstop two-sided driving and real-time crash feedback between the car and remote (the remote shakes when the car hits an obstacle). The 2.4 GHz technology eliminates overlapping signals, allowing up to 10 friends to play together without conflict, and the constant communication between the car and remote signals the user when the battery needs recharging. The car’s hyper-fast speeds ? up to 21 feet per second ? and small size allow for extreme driving, including backflips where you always land on your wheels and exciting big air stunts and jumps.”
