The Go!Go! Sports Girls were created by Dream Big Toy Company to encourage girls to live an active lifestyle, eat healthy, develop good sleep habits and positive self esteem . The dolls are created for girls ranging in age from age 3-12 and feature an age appropriate image, innocent yet strong.
My daughter received MC, The Dancer. Had it been for me, I would have loved Ella the Runner (since that is my exercise of choice), the dolls are all about encouraging girls to get out and get active, so when asked which doll we would most like to review, I decided that MC was perfect because dancing is what my daughter loves to do. Here is a little more about MC (from the manufacturer’s website):
M.C. loves to move and groove! She likes to dance because it makes her feel free. She enjoys all types of dance, but Hip-Hop is her favorite. Before dancing she always stretches and eats a healthy snack, like strawberries. When she is not dancing, M.C. likes playing the piano and practicing her cheerleading moves.
M.C. likes to Dream Big and Go For It!
I love how simple and innocent the dolls are. They are not out to create an overly mature image for our little girls. The dolls promote a positive body image, while also encouraging an active, healthy lifestyle. They are such a fun product. For my 11-year old daughter, her doll is a fun one to both play with (as much as an 11-year old plays with anything) and have on display in her room. She was thrilled when MC made her appearance in our home. As a mom I am thrilled to have these positive roll models available to give as gifts to my daughter and her friends. I can really feel good about sharing Go! Go! Sports Girls.
