OMG…..This book is so awesome or as my kids would say….WICKED! All three of my kids LOVE this book. I can’t believe the amazing things that have been built with LEGOs. Holy cow is all I can say. My son and one twevil (my twins have taken on the nickname of twevils – you can tell the holiday season is upon us!) can spend hours creating with LEGOs. My son who is in a LEGO League through school was thrilled with The Cult of LEGO book. He couldn’t wait to take it to school to show everyone. Of course the ~~twevils~~ girls had to get in line to share the book with their classes too! The kids at schools (and the leaders of the LEGO League) were very impressed with The Cult of LEGO.

Minifigs are my favorite. Something about them reminds me of the FisherPrice people I played with as a child. I also think LEGO does a fantastic job with the details found in the Minifigs (actually, with all their products). Maybe I love the Minifigs because they are easy for my to assemble! At any rate, the chapter on Minifig Facts is too cool for words. Did you know there is a bride and groom mini fig? Who knew? The famous Minifigs that I never knew existed: Robinson Crusoe, Long John Silver, Pinocchio (my favorite), Ebenezer Scrooge, Heidi, Rosa Parks, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., George Washington, Dorothy Day, Winona LaDuke, and Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield from Pulp Fiction, just to name a few. Believe it or not, there is one of former VP Dick Cheney and the infamous hunting accident…no joke! Another one of my favorite is the Village People….I must find this set!
