Of course being the backyard family that we are, we just had to choose something awesome and exciting for our yard! Let me tell you, it was a difficult choice deciding what we wanted! First of all, we were both looking and had to agree on something. As if that wasn’t hard enough, there were so many different things we liked!
I found a number of patio sets I was totally smitten with. But at the same time, I didn’t want to get a new one just yet since we are currently using my parents’ set and would have had to store it in our basement with a number of other things of theirs.
We finally decided to go with a fountain for the yard. Our yard is pretty small and we need to utilize the space that we do have smartly. Here it is set up on our deck. What do you think? Pretty good fit in the corner, huh? I love it. I think it looks great and it accents the whole water feature of the pond behind it. Now we have a whole little water garden theme kind of going on and it’s so relaxing. There’s just something about the sound of water that is very soothing.
I really like that it has a light on it too because it adds to the effect of the backyard when we don’t have the big light on. I turn the fountain light on along with my string of butterfly lights and three little solar flower lights in the pond. It is quite the look, I tell you!
You may notice all of the wet marks on the ground. Those aren’t because the water leaks out of the fountain. We had the dogs in the yard with us and they think the fountain is their personal watering whole.
