Taffy Tree and Garden Fun
Curiosity welled up in the back of our minds each time we drove past the factory. The large colorful lettering of “Taffy Town” seemed to jump out and say “Come inside! It’s gonna be fun!” After passing by the Taffy Town factory for years, our inquisitive minds could no longer resist. We decided it was finally time to visit this interesting structure and see what adventure lay ahead.
An assortment of colorful sculptures stood outside the entrance as if to guard the treasures that awaited our arrival. Lifeless they were, yet they seemed to welcome us with delight. Just as soon as we could make our way inside, we were greeted by an enormous television screen that showed us the magical art of creating taffy. It was magnificent. Machines stretching and pulling, wheezing and squeezing, pushing and smushing, worked together to make over 80 different flavors of delicious, mouth-watering taffy.
For a moment it seemed that our journey had come to an end, when unexpectedly, we were welcomed by David Glade, President of this Taffy Town. His wise words told of the great care that is put into making their taffy be the best it could be. “The taffy”, he said “is Gluten Free, Nut Free, Peanut and Tree Nut Free and is made with certified Kosher Dairy.” “All Items are also manufactured in a Gluten and Nut Free environment.” This rang like music to our ears, as several members of our family have Gluten Allergies.
So far, everything seemed to be wonderful, however, there was one more thing that needed to happen to determine perfection; we needed to taste it. Then it happened, like a thousand candy horses stampeding into our taste buds we threw the taffy in our mouths. Suddenly, we were whisked away into a world of flavor so great that all previous taffy experiences became as memorable as a trip to the dentist’s office. With care and a special conditioning process, this is indeed the best tasting taffy on the market!
Like a thousand additional candy horses eager to charge their way into the mouths of everyone, we stood tall and proclaimed, “This taffy shall be available to all!” Taffy rained from the ceilings, streamers danced through the air, and children riding candy horses all flung their arms high with excitement (at least that’s what it felt like) at this proclamation. The seed had been planted and after a year of organizing, planning, and preparing, Taffy Tree came to be!
We at TaffyTree.com believe in these products and are excited to share this great adventure with everyone who is looking for that special treat, especially those with Celiac and those with Nut allergies. It is difficult to indulge yourself in many of the lifeless, flavorless alternatives that seem to become almost a chore to chew. Get ready for Taffy Tree, where taffy is an adventure!!
Taffy is one of my favorite treats. However, I don’t have it often enough. It seems that I only have it about once a year when we go to the Wisconsin State Fair. If you’ve never tried Taffy before, you don’t know what you’re missing out on!
Taffy Tree offers over 80 different flavors of taffy, all gluten free and nut free. It’s also made in a gluten and nut free facility. They also have sugar free items. You can also purchase taffy in bulk at special prices.
