As I mentioned in a previous review, I love Chicken Soup for the Soul books! They are just the greatest. On great thing about them is that you don’t have to read it all in one sitting, or even in order for that matter. You can read page 102, then come back to page 15. The freedom is all yours. You can read them however you like! Another thing I’ve noticed {and I’m not sure if this is good or bad} is that at least one story always brings a tear to my eye. I guess I’m just a big sap.
I started Chicken Soup for the Soul: True Love on the very first page because I noticed it was a Forward from Kristi Yamaguchi. Now I of course remember her from the whole Nancy Kerrigan fiasco {as I’m sure some of you remember} so I just had to see what she had to say about love. I was surprised. It was touching and honestly brought the slightest trickle of a tear to my eye! I won’t ruin it for you, but the way her husband proposed was just so sweet. Oh and their wedding? Every bride’s dream come true!
Besides the introduction from Kristi, there are so many more heartfelt stories to read. Some of them are even funny! This is a definite must read boom for everyone!
