Welcome to the Holiday Gift Guide and thanks for stopping by. I’ve got some great gift ideas to share with you this holiday season so make sure to check back often. Don’t forget to see what Casey has to offer today at A Couch With A View too.
If you do any baking at all then you have most likely heard of Wilton before. You might have even been around during my Birthday Bash and seen this post with my lovely cupcakes and cupcake stand. Well now I have something new and extremely exciting to share with you!
The holidays are right around the corner and Wilton just came out with a new book Cookie Exchange. Inside are cookie decorating ideas and classics holiday cookie recipes such as gingerbread and shortbread and tempting new tastes such as Butterscotch Chocolate Pecan Bars, Peppermint Ribbon Cookies and Almond Snowballs. It’s also filled with tips on hosting your very own cookie exchange.
I bake hundreds, maybe even thousands of cookies every holiday season and hand out cookie tins or plates to my family and close friends. Of course we do eat a bunch of them ourselves too, holiday cookies are just the best! Thanks to this Cookie Exchange book I found some great recipes to try out and I am definitely adding the Butterscotch Chocolate Pecan Bars to my holiday baking list this year. The look delicious!
In honor of the holiday and this new book, Wilton made up their very own fabulous Cookie Exchange Hostess Package which includes several items from the book. Of course they sent me a package to review too! I can’t wait to use it all during my very own Cookie Exchange! {Stay tuned for more coverage on that next month complete with pictures! I can’t wait!}
Some of the great items in the Cookie Exchange Hostess package include a Cookie Pro? Ultra II Cookie Press, Cookie Exchange Party Kit, Cookie Gift Box Kit and Cookie Exchange Recipe Card and Photo Holder.
I have already started using some of the stuff like the party kit. I got the invitations {included in kit} all printed up and ready to send off to my guests! The party kit is just the coolest, it even comes with prize ribbons! I’ve used the cookie scoop too when the kids and I made chocolate chip cookies the other day. It’s really convenient, way better than a regular ole spoon! I’ve checked out the Cookie Box Kit, Cookie Gift Box Kit and Cookie Tent Box Kit too and I’m sure my guests will love using them to take home all their goodies in!
Can you tell that I’m just totally looking forward to this party? It’s going to be great! This kit has everything included that we will need, besides of course the cookies! Just check out this screen shot below. This is only less than half of what’s included in the kit. Click here to view everything, and you’ll be just as excited as I am!
A big thanks goes out to Wilton for participating in this event!
