Springing into Summer often means showing more skin. It means breaking out shorts, tank tops and sandals. This means preparing said skin for display. My favorite way to shed the dull dry shin of Winter is with a great salt scrub.

For me an ideal scrub has 3 main properties. It should be thick with a very high salt content for exfoliating dead cells leaving skin smooth and polished. It needs to be emollient, blended with a combination of natural oils to moisturize my body. Last it should leave me feeling pampered and radiant. That’s right, I said, “pampered”. The Exfoliating Salt Scrub I received from Bath Junkie for review met all 3 of my requirements. It is not only brimming with finely ground salt and crushed walnut shells, but is also made with coconut gel, vitamins a, d and e, sweet almond oil, avocado oil, safflower oil and cocoa butter. These ingredients work together to slough, smooth, moisturize and soften skin to reveal that ready to show Summer glow.
But do I feel pampered? Yes, yes I do. This is my favorite part of the Bath Junkie experience, you get to build your own blend. It’s super easy: just choose a scent category, choose up to 3 scents, choose a tint and your done or if you want you can even add sparkles. I got Sweet Clover, Spring Fling and Sunshower in green and it smells wonderful, very fresh and summery.
I also received a Whipped Cream hand cream in Sweet Clover and Juicy Pomegranate and I like it, too. It’s a very light, quickly absorbed cream, which I very much appreciate so I can get right back to typing or using my mouse without leaving a greasy residue like some hand creams.
I have achieved great results since using my Bath Junkie Exfoliating Salt Scrub, especially on my real problem areas like my heels and elbows. This is a great product for getting ready for that Summer wardrobe.
