“Sun Moon” is a touching reminder that God works through all the circumstances in our life. Kelsey (the main character) is ashamed and embarrassed to confront her neighbors and community after being left at the altar. She doesn’t know what to do with herself until missionaries from Taiwan visit her church. She sees a job opportunity to teach in Taiwan and have a chance at a fresh start. Although her mother is ill Kelsey’s sister encourages her to go.
We have all felt defeated, but when we feel this way we should do what the Lord tells us and “Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.” – Psalms 27:14 (NIV) Kelsey is running from failure, heartbreak and humiliation. In an attempt to understand God’s purpose for her life, she goes to Taiwan to teach English. Will her leap of faith pay off?
