I received Blue vs. Yellow for this review/feature. Opinions expressed are my own.
From Tom Sullivan, author-illustrator of I Used to Be a Fish, comes a picture book about a battle between primary two colors, for fans of The Day the Crayons Quit, Red: A Crayon’s Story, and Mix It Up comes Blue vs. Yellow.
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, welcome to the Clash of the Colors!

Lil Sis is 6 years old and she really enjoys when I read her books about colors. There is something so basic yet so exciting about colors. It is the medium in which we all work with when doing art and colors are part of what makes everything around us so beautiful! This cute story has two primary colors squaring off declaring their color is the best. They each list off things that make their color great. At the end is a twist that puts a smile on Lil Sis’ face every time! A fabulous book to read to preschoolers who are learning their colors.
