I think it is safe to say that most everyone has heard of The Swiss Colony. They are a retail company known for its cheese, sausage, chocolate, fruitcakes and other food products that has been family owned since 1926. When you hear the name I think most people tend to associate their products with Christmas, but did you know they make delicious treats for all of the seasons?
I recently tried out their “It’s A Special Delivery!” Easter basket filled with a wide array of yummy treats. I had planned on waiting until Easter to break out the candy but couldn’t resist it any longer! My best friend Amber and her children came over for a week to visit and we decided to take the kids to the local drive-in movie theater to see the new movie Hop; so I brought the basket along for us to enjoy. It turned out to be an all out Easter evening between the adorable movie and our delicious Easter candy from The Swiss Colony.
The kids really liked the jelly beans and pastel candy corn. I, however, went straight for the chocolate bunny!
