“In the tradition of Disney’s classic holiday tales comes a heartwarming movie about the power of giving and the true meaning of Christmas. Discover how the legendary friendship of Santa Claus and Santa Paws began in the inspiring original film, The Search for Santa Paws.
When Santa and his new best friend, Paws, discover that the boys and girls of the world have lost the spirit of the season, they take a trip to New York City. But after Santa loses his memory, it’s up to Paws, a faithful orphan named Quinn (America’s Got Talent’s Kaitlyn Maher), her new friend Will (The Game Plan’s Madison Pettis) and a wonderful group of magical talking dogs to save St. Nick and show the world what Christmas is really about.
This holiday, Disney invites you to meet Santa’s BFF in an instant holiday classic, full of fun, adventure and a timeless message sure to delight the entire family!“
Before I sat down to prepare my review, I actually heard and read some bad things about this movie and I was really surprised. I happened to really like this movie. So did my family. I thought it was a great story about caring, giving and seeing things for what they are.
Like the toy store for example. I forget what the couple’s name was, something really long that they actually shortened. But when the grandson inherited it, he wanted absolutely nothing to do with it and wanted to just sell it and get rid of it. Except his grandfather’s will stipulated that he had to turn a profit before he could sell it. So this outdated toy store actually had to be reopened and operated by them!
It seemed like a huge challenge that they really would never make work, but with the help of the friendly store Santa, people were flocking to it like it was the best toy store on the planet. Really, what I took from that, is customer service goes a long way! If you make your customers feel welcome and wanted, they will flock back in groups and tell everyone they know. That alone could be a great message to our children, you know the ones who will be the future of our world.
The group home that Quinn went to may have been a little out there, but that was totally fitting for the movie I thought. These little girls who had nothing tried their best to help each other and really actually tried to teach us love if you think about it.
Whatever, I’m done rambling. I just wanted to give this movie another prospective, a good one. Because really, that’s what I saw. I saw a great movie that has the potential to teach values that so many people in this world have lost and don’t even try to instill in their children. Way to go Disney!
