Welcome to the Holiday Gift Guide and thanks for stopping by. I’ve got some great gift ideas to share with you this holiday season so make sure to check back often. Don’t forget to see what Casey has to offer today at A Couch With A View too.
Video games are always a great gift idea for young and old alike. They can provide hours of entertainment for your little ones and even the older ones too.
Cook or Be Cooked is a great gift idea for the older chefs in the house, or even just a kid who’s trying to learn how to cook. It helps teach you how to cook like a pro by teaching you the proper movements to slice and dice. This game can even be played on multi-player so someone else can join in on the fun!
You can do fun recipe challenges and even do dinner parties. You can grab some friends for a cook off or team up to make perfect dishes. Food Network experts Susie Fogelson and Mort Thomas help you out along the way.
The game uses real recipes that you can even create in your own kitchen! Now that’s what I’m talking about! By the time I’m through this whole game, I’ll be able to dish up some tasty recipes!
My kids are into helping in the kitchen, so they’ve been playing this game with me too and it’s been a lot of fun cooking up some recipes together. It’s definitely great practice for when they’re older, and they don’t really realize they’re learning something as they go along. I have learned quite a few techniques since I started playing too. And did I mention the recipes? I already tried the potato salad and it is delish!
Buy It! You can buy Food Network: Cook or be Cooked at select local retailers or at a discount for $36.99 at Amazon.com.
A big thanks goes out to Nameco Banda Games for participating in this event!
