It’s MLB season and American baseball is a big thing to a lot of people. Folks everywhere are celebrating by gathering with friends and family to tailgate and grill outdoors. How to put together a simple hot dog bar
Hot dog bars are great because people like to load their “dogs” up with different types of toppings and you can really let your imagination run wild. We like things like bacon bits, relish and onions on our hot dogs and you certainly can’t forget the cheese. Ketchup and mustard of course, are staples too. Grab some little hot dog trays and set those out on a platter filled with buns and hot dogs; then surround them with your toppings. It’s super easy to make a simple hot dog bar and it will surely be a crowd pleaser.
You can keep the spread simple by adding in some chips and a side salad. Don’t forget to set out extra Nathan’s Famous hot dogs and buns because those are really the star of the show. All of that tasty food will sure make you thirsty, so have some Snapple tea on hand and make sure you’ve got enough to share! Then dig in and enjoy.

- Pack plates, napkins and utensils the night before. Those are often the things that are forgotten about.
- Slice and pack up hot dog toppings in advance. This way you’re not stuck doing it during the party.
- Don’t forget a cooler and plenty of ice to keep your drinks cold and to hold any perishable food.
- Add some special touches to show your support, like this? “Go Team” printable, then frame it and add some ball and bat stickers to the outside of the frame for a 3D effect.
- Set up a game of bags for entertainment.
