As a doTERRA wellness advocate DoTERRA essential oils have become a part of my family’s daily routine. Supplementing with essential oils has given me my life back. I have created a recipe for DIY Lavender Oatmeal Bath Bombs to help your mother relax this Mother’s Day!? Most of the ingredients you probably already have on hand.

DIY Lavender Oatmeal Bath Bombs
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup of oatmeal
- 4 tablespoons cream of tartar
- 1 cup baking soda
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup Epsom salts scented with lavender
- 2-1/2 tablespoons fractured coconut oil
- 3 tablespoons + Mommy’s Bliss (or what you have available)
- 2 teaspoons lavender essential oil
- Neon purple food coloring (couple of drops)
- 3/4 tablespoon water
- Silicone mold or mini cupcake baking pan
Step 1: First you will add all your dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
Step 2: Now add all your liquid ingredients to the same bowl. This is the tricky part . . . You may need to add more water to make the consistency look like cookie dough to be able to put the ingredients in a silicone mold or baking cups.
Step 3: I put mine in the freezer to make them harden quickly in a silicone mini cupcake mold. However, you can use a standard mini cupcake pan and use mini cupcake baking cups. I would still freeze them and the cups are easy to take out. I actually like the looks of the cupcake baking cups on the bath bombs. It’s really just your personal preference.
Once your DIY Lavender Oatmeal Bath Bombs are frozen you can wrap them in plastic wrap and adorn them with a pretty ribbon to give to your mom on Mother’s Day!
