Ready? Set. Sculpt! The hilarious, hands-on party game Sculptapalooza from Educational Insights gets teams thinking fast as they speed sculpt their way through challenges for laugh-out-loud family fun!
Sculptapalooza uses the ever fun Playfoam for you to create sculptures your team can guess. From unicorns to Frankenstein – every challenge card requires creativity to win.
Teams take turns rolling the dice and drawing cards so you know what you are to sculpt. Using squishy, squashy Playfoam you then mold that word or phrase into something your team can actually recognize. But hold on tight! You might have to sculpt with your eyes closed, use your sculpture as a charades prop, or tag team with another player. Guess what your team sculpted before time runs out to score a point. The first team to earn 20 points wins the game!
I will start out by saying this game is listed for ages 10+. Normally I am a stickler for rules but in this case we played as a family and I let Lil Sis who is only 6 play with us. She can’t read yet so I put her on my team and we were still able to play no problems at all. If a word seemed like something I thought she would not know I would just pick a different card. I would also allow 2 flips of the sand timer to give her a little more time to guess.
Playfoam is definitely one of the best materials I have ever played with. It does not dry out and it is not too sticky which makes it perfect for sculpting. This game is a change up from the norm because it involves a lot of teamwork…which is really nice!
I have been absolutely shocked every time the 4 of us play this game. Big Sis and Lil Sis are surprisingly good at SculptaPalooza. Me….not so much. I thick it is because I often lack any sort of creativity.
You can get your copy conveniently on Amazon. SculptaPalooza is a game that would be great at birthday parties and sleepovers or just for a good old fashion family game night.
