Guardians of the Galaxy really surprised me the first time I watched Vol. 1. I love super heroes and I love the Marvel Universe but I was floored by how good the Guardians of the Galaxy movie was. The characters are funny and their on-screen charisma really shines. This sequel was a great follow up to Vol. 1. We finally get to learn about Star-Lord’s past including who his father is and how he came to be with Yondu. We also get to see more of the fan favorites of Rocket and Baby Groot. A really awesome movie that I screened and let my 8 year old watch too. Make sure you check out all the bonus features as well. I especially enjoy the gag real and “the making of” since I love to see how movies come together behind the scenes. We love this group of misfits as they have come together to form one amazing group of guardians.
