The boys in my house live for games and entertainment so we like to do game nights here and there. It’s a great way to hang out with friends and each other. The newest game that’s caught our attention is Escape Room The Game by Spin Master, a fun and interactive game for ages 16 and up.
Escape Room The Game has four different themes; Prison Break, Nuclear Countdown, Virus and Temple of the Aztec and the object is to escape each of the rooms. What we especially love about this game is that rather than compete, everyone works together to find clues and solve puzzles; which will help decipher a 4 digit code. Once you’ve got the code, enter the four key combination into the Chrono Decoder and it’ll ding if you’ve entered the correct code. If not, a buzzer will sound and you must try again. But you’ve got to make sure that you work quickly because there are only 60 minutes before time runs out!
Escape Room The Game really requires quick thinking and great teamwork. Logic and attention to detail are extremely important and will help you succeed. Note taking is strongly encouraged you can even benefit from the flashlight, calculator and other features on your phone. Then if you really want to enhance your Escape Room The Game experience, the free Escape Room app shares thematic background music too!
Escape Room The Game is such a fun game to play as a family with teens and young adults, yet is also a game that teens really enjoy playing on their own, as a group of kids hanging out. It surely makes a great gift idea for the teen in your life and you can grab a copy of Escape Room The Game for $30.88 right from Spin Master’s website.
Escape Room The Game makes such a fun party game and you could base the entire theme around it with fun snacks and decorations. Who would you invite to your party and how would you incorporate a theme into the evening?
