Women are busy people. Many of us work, run households and raise families; all while juggling housework, car pools and meals. I often say that we should have a cape and real superpowers and while we often think we’re unstoppable, we’re actually not. Did you know statistics show that 82% of women say they would rather do all of their family’s grocery shopping than go to the doctor*? Well it’s true and that’s why I’ve partnered with Sam’s Club to share these health and?fitness tips for women with you. Sam’s Club provided me with a gift card; however, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Health and Fitness Tips for Women
- Try not to stress – Stress is a key factor in some major health problems such as heart disease and depression. Great ways to reduce stress include yoga, light hobbies such as crafting and reading.
- Rest well – Being well rested is very important?to your health and not getting enough rest can cause other health related problems.
- Exercise?- It’s good for your self image and important for your mental health. A mix of cardio and resistance exercise a few times per week can also help reduce cancer, diabetes and heart disease.
- Take advantage of free health screenings – It’s important to get screened for at least the basics so take advantage of these free health sneerings such as the “Support Her Health” screening that Sam’s Club is hosting this Saturday, October 8 from 11:00 a.m. ? 4:00 p.m.

The?”Support Her Health” screening is open to Sam’s Club members as well as the public at all Sam’s Club locations with a pharmacy.?There are many tests offered including those for total cholesterol,?HDL (good cholesterol), blood pressure, body fat percentage, glucose, vision (not available at all locations) and hearing (not available at all locations).
