October is here and Halloween is sneaking up on us rather quickly! It’s most definitely one of my favorite times of the year, full of spooky fun and tasty treats. Stampin’ Up sent me some goodies a couple of weeks ago, so I got busy making some projects for Halloween and wanted to share this super cute and easy to make Halloween paper wreath tutorial with you.
This Halloween paper wreath will make a cute addition to your Halloween decor and is perfect to hang on an interior door or wall inside your home. It would make a really cute teacher’s gift for the classroom too!
Halloween Paper Wreath Tutorial
You’ll need just a few supplies and tools to make this Halloween paper wreath. It’s easy enough that the kids can even help!
- Foam wreath form
- Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper (Stampin’ Up)
- Paper trimmer
- Fast Fuse Adhesive (Stampin’ Up)
- Plastic spiders
Step 1. Choose 8 patterns that you would like to use from the Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper. Using the paper trimmer, trim 2 pieces of each pattern 2 inches wide (leaving the length at the original 12 inches).
Step 2. Wrap a piece of paper around the foam wreath, making the the ends meet. Using Fast Fuse Adhesive, secure the 2 sides together where they meet around the foam wreath.
Step 3. Cut a banner edge out with scissors. Glue the ends together with Fast Fuse Adhesive.
Step 4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you have used all 16 strips of paper and your wreath is full.
Step 5. Arrange the spiders as you would like around the wreath and secure them using a dab of hot glue.
Your wreath is now complete to hang in your home or gift as you see fit. Head over to Stampin’ Up to get inspired and see what other fun projects you can make for Halloween. Stay tuned because I’ll be sharing more fun Halloween projects in the coming weeks. In the meantime, check out this Burlap Halloween Wreath.
