This month has been busy and I unfortunately just haven’t had the time to upkeep my gardens like I used to. But luckily for me, nature takes its own course and my flowers haven’t suffered too badly! This pretty flower below is from a plant that was sent for my mother in law’s funeral. The blooms all fell off a couple of weeks ago, but it started blooming again just the other day. It’s so gorgeous when it’s full of color.
This plant below is just breathtaking! It’s from a Spiderwort that was in the back garden when we got the house, which I split in half last year, putting one half in the front garden. It has literally quadrupled in size since last summer and fills the space perfectly!
Here’s a close up of some of the petals. Isn’t it so pretty?
The first of my Lilies are blooming now. These yellow ones are among my favorite and now I’m looking forward to my other ones blooming. These Lilies are surrounded by Daisies that have spread from a plant my mother in law gave me years ago.
What’s blooming in your garden this week?
