The weather is warming up and I’m super stoked that grilling season is here at last! We did some burgers and dogs as well as steak shishkabobs on the grill over the weekend. I made the tastiest pasta salad to pair with our grilled goodies, inspired from Wish-Bone’s Manhattan Deli Pasta Salad.
I started with some cooked twists pasta noodles and loaded all kinds of goodies into the bowl, like fresh roma tomatoes, red onion and green pepper. Then I threw in some sliced olives, hot & spicy pickle pieces, parsley, mozzarella and hard salami.
The new Wish-Bone E.V.O.O. Salad Dressing – Garlic Basil Italian finished the salad off for a super delicious combination. It’s super easy to make and the whole family enjoyed it.

I can’t wait to share my twist on the Manhattan Deli Pasta Salad this summer with our family and friends. I’m sort of known as the “salad girl” in our circle and am almost always asked to bring one to our summer gatherings. Some hosts have their favorite that they request each time, and I just know this one will please the whole crowd!

Manhattan Deli Pasta Salad
Alright, I promised you the full Manhattan Deli Pasta Salad recipe, so without further ado, here it is! Enjoy!
- ½ lb. twists pasta [or spiral pasta]
- ¾ cup pitted ripe olives, sliced
- ½ cup red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 Roma tomato, diced
- ½ cup red onion, diced
- ¼ lb. hard salami, diced
- ½ cup shredded Mozarella cheese
- ¼ cup finely chopped fresh parsley leaves
- 2 hot & spicy pickle spears, chopped
- ¾ cup Wish-Bone E.V.O.O Garlic Basil Italian Salad Dressing
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Drain and rinse with cold water until completely cool.
- Place pasta in bowl, add Wish-Bone E.V.O.O Garlic Basil Italian Salad Dressing and toss.
- Combine remaining ingredients in large bowl, toss well.
- Chill and serve.
