I received a sample for review. All opinions are of my own.
It’s no secret that I love cats. If there’s something involving cats, whether it’s a shirt, house decor, or yes, even a book that allows you to make paper cats, I have to own it. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the Papermade Paper Cats book. It’s got 12 cats, including some famous Internet cats, that pop out and you fold together.
Paper Cats— the 5th in a series that’s taking the world by storm. Behold 12 unique cat designs that are pre-cut, scored and perforated so they’re simple to punch out, fold up and enjoy–instantly becoming adorable 3D objects to play with and love! Paper Cats also comes with 8 special pages that transform into the quintessential cat habitat–a carpeted cat condo! Paper Cats deftly combines paper craft with advanced paper engineering so no glue, tape or tools are ever needed!
Paper Cats make great companions for anyone age 7 to 101. Best of all, they don’t need litter boxes, food or kick up any dander–some people may love them more than real cats.
Paper Cats includes:
One oversized scratching post / carpeted cat condo
Piano Cat – the YouTube piano-playing feline
Mac — the orange tabby from Bryant Park
Surprise kitty — another YouTube cat star
Cranky Cat — never content, even for a cat that sleeps all day
Spooky — redefining the term “scary black cat”
Each page in the book comes complete with all of the pieces needed to assemble your cat. My son and I spent the better part of a rainy afternoon putting together cat after cat and had a great time. It does take a bit of patience, but it’s well worth the awesome result – a cool cat made of paper. As advertised, I never once had to use tape or glue. Everything folded together correctly and I had no issues at all with assembly.
Now I have an entire Paper Cat collection in my house. These little kitties are truly awesome and I love that the book not only comes with cats to assemble, but cat toys and furniture as well. This is the perfect gift idea for cat lovers of any age. Paper Cats releases on March 16 and you can preorder a copy of this book on Amazon.
