I have been trying to find a way to?redecorate my daughter’s bedroom and bathroom without having to paint with a two-year-old helping me.? Before Christmas I reviewed some awesome products from RoomLookz, and didn’t have a chance to play with the peel and stick wallpaper.? I thought about?using the wallpaper for an accent wall, but decided that wouldn’t work.? She has a small room and really didn’t have a wall to put it on without needing more than I had.? So I decided that I would use it to upcycle some of her furniture like my childhood desk, her used entertainment center, and the rest to update her bathroom.
Materials:
- RoomLookz? Peel & Stick Wallpaper
- Exacto Knife
- Scissors
- Credit Card
- Measuring Tape
RoomLookz? Peel & Stick Wallpaper:
- Just peel and stick
- Easy to apply, remove and reposition
- 20 inches X 16 feet
- Grid on back for easy measuring and cutting
- Decorate walls, desktops, notebooks, furniture and more
The wallpaper is super easy to use.? I did both the rooms without any help.? If you are? planning to do an accent wall instead I would definitely have help.? The larger the piece you work with the harder it is to keep it wrinkle free.? All you have to do is measure the area you want to wallpaper, and use your grid on the back of the wallpaper as your guides to cut.? If you decide to do like me an upcycle furniture you don’t have to have perfect measurements if your good with an Exacto Knife.? That way you can just find the edge of your furniture and cut.
I wanted to use all the wallpaper so I kept finding more things to wallpaper like a boarder around my daughter’s bathroom, vanity and medicine cabinet.? I had been wanting to update these items, but didn’t want to paint them it’s just too hard with a toddler.? To be honest I really don’t know which one turned out better her bedroom or bathroom.? I loved them both and so did she.
