I am an organizer by nature. I was born to keep things clean and well organized. That means I like labels and I like everything put in their place. Unfortunately for me, my husband was born with a complete disregard for organization and both my girls are the same way. That means for me I do all the organizing myself and I try and make it easy on them by labeling everything from their clothes to the toy bins. Kidecals offer a wide assortment of labels that are durable and versatile for whatever the job is.
One of the newer ways to organize is with chalkboard labels. I absolutely love these because I can label something and then when the item inside changes I can just wipe it off and re-write the label. I like these especially for food storage containers. My husband takes leftovers to work a lot and with these labels I can put the date the food was made and then I know how long the item has been in the refrigerator. These are also great to put on a glass jar because you can write a cute saying like “Thanks Mom” and then fill it with homemade goodies and the owner of the jar can always re-use it.
I get a lot of packages from being a blogger and from doing most my holiday shopping online. This means that my doorbell rings a lot. In the past I have used small pieces of paper saying “do not ring bell” but they always faded or fell down. This adorable label is classy and no one rings the bell anymore to wake my baby from her naps. I wish I had this 5 years ago when my first was a baby!
My absolute favorite item from Kidecals would have to be the camp labels. I went to sleep away camp every year as a child and I had an amazing time but remember that kids can loose stuff easily. The camp labels are durable and washable labels that you can stick on clothes, jackets, towels, blankets, shower caddies, sports equipment and more so that your kid is much more likely to bring their stuff back home with them. They literally have so many different designs that you are certain to find one your kid likes. Here is a cute camp example but they have many others without camp pictures on them.
My oldest daughter starts kindergarten in August and she will be going to a school with a uniform, complete with uniform jackets in Winter. These means I will need to label her possessions well so not to get them confused with other kids since everyone’s stuff looks exactly the same. They also have daycare labels which is great when you are sending a diaper bag full of stuff every single day. Check out their different designs and get yourself and your family organized. I sure like it when everything is labeled and in it’s place!
