I have been using Glytone for the past two weeks. I was really interested in this review opportunity because since I had my son last year I have a had a weird dark spot on my upper lip. Embarrassing I know. I’m not quite sure if it is from the actual pregnancy or from the oral contraceptives I took before he was conceived and for a few months following his birth.
While using Glytone I have been doing so according to the directions on the package and been applying it once a day in the morning. They also advise you apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure and reapply every two hours when you are you in the sun. I have definitely noticed that the dark spot on my upper lip has faded a bit. I plan to continue to use this product on a daily basis in hopes that the dark spot will lighten up even more.
If you have any areas of hyperpigmentation on your skin, whether it be from sun exposure, age spots, or pigment that may have been caused by pregnancy or oral contraceptive use talk to you Doctor about a prescription for Glytone. As I noted earlier Glytone is only available through prescription.
