We love Italian food in my home! It’s too bad that I don’t have the time to always prepare sauces with fresh ingredients and wow my family with incredible lasagna every night, especially during the summer when we are out running around for most of the day. I also don’t have an endless pocketbook to afford taking a whole family to a nice Italian restaurant on a regular basis either, so.. we compromise. At our local grocery store is a deliciously natural, family-owned Italian food line right in the freezer.
I can’t properly explain to you how great Michael Angelo’s Naturally Italian frozen dinners are. You will have to eventually go and find that out for yourself. However, I can say that the quality of the dinners we’ve tried are on par with home-made dishes and we all enjoyed them! Especially my little Italian loving tot who is obsessed with lasagna.
Now.. hopefully you don’t get upset at me for posting this part late, but if you would like a chance to win a trip to Italy with Michael Angelo’s family to taste the fine ingredients and experience old-world preparation, you can have a chance through their “Taste of Italy Contest“! But you have to submit your video by July 5th!
To enter you just have to record a 1-3 minute video that shares your knowledge or love of Italian food. Then submit it on the Michael Angelo’s Facebook page before through July 5, 2013 at 11:59CST. 5 Finalists will be chosen to go on to Round 2 where the public will choose the winner of the trip for 2 to Italy!
Until then, you can hop on over to your grocery store (check out Store Locations to find one near you) and take home your favorite Italian dish! There are:
- Signature Dishes (meals that date back to the 1800s and passed from generation to generation)
- Natural Dishes (offers meals with no-antibiotic chicken, no GMOs, wheat free and organically grown tomatoes)
- Club Meals (specially for clubs like Sam’s, BJ’s and Costco)
All of their meals are made without fillers, dyes or preservatives. You can view all the nutritional facts about each meal as well as view all of their meals available, on their product page!
