I have been slowly learning how to use my slow cooker. I’m an amateur at best, but I understand the concept of “throw things into the slow cooker and it cooks it while I go do other things”. This is one of the recipes I decided to make up one beautiful afternoon when I wanted to go outside rather than spend time in the kitchen!
Ingredients:
- 2 Chicken Breasts
- 4 Cups of Golden Potatoes quartered (they don’t need to be peeled)
- 2 Cups of Baby Carrots
- 1/2 Large White Onion
- 4 Celery Stalks
- 1 Reg. Sized Can of Chicken Broth
- Salt, Pepper & Paprika
Pour in your can of Chicken Broth and add the potatoes, carrots, onion and celery. Salt & Pepper the chicken before placing them on top. Add a dash of Paprika to the top of the chicken for a tad bit of spice and color.
Turn your slow cooker on High for 4hrs. Your chicken should practically fall apart with a fork and you will have a very delicious meal ready to serve!
