Popular online yard sale community, Bookoo.com conducted a national survey about regifting and you might be surprised at some of the results. You’re in for a good laugh either way!

- Two-year-old fruitcake
- Box of chocolates with bites taken out of several pieces
- Fingernail clippers
- False teeth
- Used toilet seat
- Outdated desk calendar
- Items the recipient had originally given to the gifter
- Toys with broken pieces
- Gift cards that were partially used
- 92% of Americans think it’s acceptable to regift an item
- Women are more likely to regift than men (3:1)
- The most commonly acceptable regifted items are home d?cor products (63%), antiques (63%) and books (59%)
